Probably slots into our team the best way for years. So many players around him with pace that he doesn't need to hold onto ball too long waiting for a player to find space.
Will be his best season for us hopefully.

Noble has been excellent this season.
But I certainly wouldn't begrudge drinkwater getting a call up he's been fantastic.

My namesake picked players from any club. It was in a time where money was not the biggest factor but there were still the big teams but he had :
Banks - Leicester
Cohen - Fulham
Hurst, Peters, "Football God Moore"
Ball - Blackpool
J Charlton - Leeds
Ray Wilson - Everton
Leeds were not a huge club in 1966. Everton were arguably bigger than now but not by much.
Lesson to be learned... Hurst was in form but new to the squad but still played instead of Greaves. It was Alfs best move.
Pick players that perform well consistently at teams that do not necessarily contain the best players in the country or world. To play well consistently in a lesser team probably means you will play well in the National team with better players.

Pressure is really starting to build in the media for Nobes to get a call up. Splashed all over the front of The Mirror's football pullout. How long can Roy ignore the growing noise? He keeps shooting himself in the foot with his comments about Rashford and Wilshere, didn't need to make any of those comments especially considering how vague he was when questioned about his reluctance to pick our Captain on MOTD.
Roy is an old comudgen, stuck in his ways and like all of the recent England managers fears change.

Rodfarts is obviously on a wind up. But, just in case he isn't.......I have to say that if his comments are genuinely true about Noble then it is quite obvious he has never played football and doesn't understand football.
Now, this doesn't make him a bad person for not playing the game. But having played the game, like most have, for a large percentage of my life I can categorically say that to play that position at that level in the way that Noble currently is playing is genuinely outstanding.
NOBODY unless they have played pro football will actually realise how difficult it is to play at that level and Noble is at the moment one of the best central midfielders in this country,
Rodfarts has a hard on for him for some reason. But we have to take what he says with a pinch of salt because its obvious his understanding of the situation is very minimal.

How that fucking cunt bubble Ryan Mason gets picked over Noble is beyond comprehension. I like Mark Noble but I also realise he has limitations.
I don't want Mark Noble to be picked for England because I don't want him getting injured and not being able to play for us. That said, the boy must want the recognition and it is a shame that cunt Hodgson only picks on the basis of what club you play for

He's had a fantastic season. I remember Bleeding Claret digging me out for suggesting that he deserved the armband at the beginning of the season. Surely nobody is of that view now?
